Please let us know if something is wrong or needs improvement.

Please note prior to arrival:

Guests must bring:

• Toilet paper.

• Toilet cleaner.

• Garbage bags.

• Hand soap.

• Dish washing liquid.

• Towels.

• Rags/cloths for washing tables and for drying dishes.

• Mops for cleaning floors (a bucket and a mop handle are present).

• Bed linen.

Please note at arrival:

Do not start any fire in the area. Water hoses can be found in the storage and faucets on the back of the houses. Fire bats can be found on the back of the storage.

Familiarize yourself with the location of the fire extinguisher (next to the front door) and fire blanket (in the kitchen).

First aid kit is in the big cabinet, furthest to the left.

To turn on the television: press button on the wall and then use the remote.

Wi-Fi password is on the router, behind the couch.

Sun chairs and extra gas canisters can be found in the storage house next to Laufholt. Please bring empty canisters to the shop Bjarnabúð in Reykholt for a refill. Take a receipt and you will be reimbursed.

Instructions for the hot tub:

Next to the hot tub is a handle. You must twist that one direction to fill up the hot tub and the other direction to empty it.

To get water into the hot tub you must press the green button between the bathroom and the storage. This causes water to flow into the hot tub for 3 hours. Pressing that button again means 3 more hours of water flow.

Please note at departure

Guests must clean the house well. See list below.

• To lock the front door, you must lift up the handle and then turn the key.

• The door to the patio is locked from the inside.

• Put the sun chairs back into the storage.

• Close all windows and turn off the lights.

Cleaning

Cleaning supplies can be found in the storage.

• Vacuum all floors in all rooms. This includes behind the couch.

• Vacuum the rug in the entrance.

• Vacuum the couch itself.

• Mop all floors, this includes behind the couch.

• In the kitchen: Clean all surfaces, clean the refrigerator, stove, oven, and microwave.

• In the bathroom: Clean all surfaces. Clean the toilet, sink and the shower.

• Clean the Grill and put the cover on.

• Empty and clean the hot tub, put the lid on and fasten well.
• Remove all litter.

Failure to clean the house properly may result in a penalty of 15. 000 ISK.

Final Check list for departure:

• Everything is clean. Indoors, grill and hot tub.

• The lid is on the hot tub and the cover is on the grill.

• All lights are off.

• All windows are closed.

• Doors are locked.

The house looks like I would want it to when I arrive for a nice relaxing holiday.
